Nuad Thai Nordic – Training & Certification Center is an important step for the improvement of Nuad Thai (Thai massage) business standard in Sweden and Nordic countries.

We officially opened the center on Sunday, March 12, at Mobilia department store in Malmö, Sweden. Ms. Carina Nilsson, the mayor of Malmö, and staff-members of the Malmo City have continuously supported the implementation of this program. Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, the Thai ambassador to Sweden, also joined the warm opening ceremony.

Our other distinguished guests include the Thai ambassador to Finland; representatives of the Royal Thai Embassy to Norway and the Royal Thai Embassy to Denmark; representatives of the Association of Thai Women in Norway, the Association of Nuad Thai and Spas in Norway, and the program members that are running nine Nuad Thai salons in Malmö. Operators of the nine Malmö salons have participated in the ThaiWISE Project’s Nuad Thai Business Certification Program. Operators of Nuad Thai salons in other cities in Sweden and other Nordic countries also joined the opening.

Nuad Thai Nordic – Training & Certification Center will be a learning hub of ethical Nuad Thai business operation. We have a flagship salon at the center. We offer Nuad Thai training services. Our center is equipped with facilities for Nuad Thai trainees to practice their skills. Resource persons of the center can also advise those who want to confidently start a Nuad Thai business.

This is the first official collaboration between Thai communities in Nordic countries to standardize Nuad Thai businesses, and to enhance good reputation of Nuad Thai among international customers.
